About
Susan Kett is an experienced Healing Arts Consultant based in the Chicagoland area. Painting is her passion and after sharing her talents teaching art for several years, she combined her interests in arts with healthcare. Working in the field of Arts & Health, has enabled her to use the arts to promote healing while uplifting others and filling hospitals with a variety of engaging art exhibits.
The National Arts Program has been a partner sponsoring 5 exhibits featuring the artwork of hospital employees and their family members. She has been recognized for her years of commitment to the National Arts Program and was recently featured in the NAP Spotlight .
Her work has been supported by grants from the Society for the Arts & Healthcare, now known as The National Organization for Arts and Health. As an active member, she is focused on a public health initiative, Creating Healthy Communities: Arts & Public Health in America.
Sue’s current focus is to strengthen the connection between the healing power of the arts and public health to address some of the most challenging healthcare issues facing our society.
